Upholstery Cleaning Sydney – The Process
Inspection
First, we’ll examine the upholstery in detail. We will look at the type and quality of the fibres, along with the composition and any marks or soiling that has occurred over the years.
After an assessment has been conducted, we can determine which of the following steps are required to return it to the way you remember.
Washing
The main washing stage is a two-step process, as outlined below.
- Dry Soil Removal
We will remove any dust and debris that has been ground into the fabric over the years.
Using horsehair brush vacuum heads and turbo upholstery heads, we will also get into all of the gaps with a professional crevasse tool.
- Upholstery Cleaning
Depending on the fibre, and the level of soiling or stains, we will choose to either steam clean, low moisture clean or dry clean your furniture. There is no residue and no impact on the rest of your room with any of these processes, so you’re in safe hands with our fabric care specialists.
Finishing
Finally, we will address any stubborn stains with a professional upholstery fabric cleaner, a process known as ‘hand spotting’, and the upholstery will be almost back to new. To finish it all off, and to finally get it looking as good as new, we will carefully brush and groom all of the fabric to give it that showhouse appearance, and then it is all yours to enjoy.
